Been off the ice for more than a week after europeans because of sickness and low motivation. After the dissapointing skate in budapest i felt really sad and low so i took some time of and we made some changes and made a big surprise witch we tested this weekend and will be finnished for the nordics =)
I knew the free skate would be hard since i havent really been doing full skates for almost 4 weeks now but the goal was to finaly get a good short program since that have been a struggle this season. And i did it! We went easy with only trippel dubbel and steps in to 3toeloop and 3axel it was not perfect but only minor errors so a big step forward.
I finally found out how hard a free skate can be :) i normal dont have that big of a problem doing the free skate but i am not in my best program shape stamina wise =) the jumps was ok some small errors but overall an ok perforance just really tired. And a great finish in second place after a great young russian who was really good.
I know motivation should come from within but i can tell you i really needed this!!! And i also have a great team and fantastic teammates. Anita also got silver so we hade a great comback and we will be ready for worlds!!! =)
